CM Naveen Patnaik Writing to Mansukh Mandaviya for Short Fertilizer Supply to Odisha

Bhubaneswar: Minister of Naveen Patnaik’s chairman on Saturday search for union chemical interventions and Mansukh Minister of Mansukh Mandaviya’s fertilizer at the supply of short fertilizers to Odisha.
Naveen, in a letter to Mandaviya, said that through the supply of fertilizer to Odisha in accordance with the monthly movement plan was normal to April, there had been a severe short supply of fertilizers that were different during the May to July period.
“During the current Kharif season, until now, the state only received 1.45,145 MT Urea against the allocation of 2,31,530 MT and the supply plan agreed upon from 2,10,000 MT.
Similarly, during this period, the state has received 97,763 MT DAP ( In-ammonium phosphate) on the allocation of 1,52,000 MT and the supply plan agreed upon from 1,45,000 MT, “said Minister of Chief.
The minister’s chairman also shows a short supply of other fertilizers such as MOP (Muricate of Pigash) and nitrogen, phosphorus and potassium (NPK) fertilizer to the state.
About 42,867 MT MOP and 1,05,798 MT NPK have been supplied against the allocation of 67,200 MT and 1,68,400 and approved the supply plan of 60,000 MT and 1,42,000 MT, showing the ministerial head.
“Overall, the urea supply has been 62% of the allocation and 69% of the agreed supply plan.
For other fertilizers, the number of supply stands among 60% and 74%,” said Minister of Chief.
By declaring that farmers in this country have suffered severe plant losses because of the past, then and some cyclone storms during previous years, the minister’s chairlers underlined the continuation of fertilizer to optimize their production.
“In mid-July to September, the period of peak consumption for Urea and July to August is the peak period of demand for all other fertilizers, the supply of short fertilizers to the country at this point will have a negative impact on the country and do not need legal and order situations in most districts , “said the minister’s chief.
Naveen demanded the supply of fertilizer to Odisha according to the agreed monthly supply plan including the previous month’s deposits for the welfare of the agricultural community in the state.
Previously in June, Agriculture Minister Arun Sahoo had also written a letter to the Minister of Chemistry and Male Union Fertilizer DV Sadandada Gowda regarding the supply of short fertilizers to the country and demanded adequate fertilizer supply to the country during the Kharif season.
