Patna: CM Nitish Kumar on Friday visited various places with Ganga and Sone in Bhojpur and suggestions for taking stock of flood situations in both districts.
He also checked the kitchen of the community in the Chowk refuge in advice and talked to people who ate there.
Nitish also examined the Covid vaccination center carried out near the kitchen of the community arranged for flooded people.
Cm asked asking district officials to ensure Covid testing from everyone who lived near the kitchen community there and made separate arrangements for those found infected.
“Also ensure the vaccination of all left behind,” Nitish to officials.
Nitish asked the suggestion of DM Nilesh Chandra Deore to expand the sitting area in the kitchen community so that more people can eat there easily.
He then asked officials to arrange tents and other important items in the kitchen of the community.
Accompanied by the Minister of Water Resources Sanjay Kumar Jha, Nitish spoke to several representatives of elected people in advice and asked them to work coordinate with district administration for the distribution of affected materials.
DM’s suggestion told CM about the affected population, the number of ships arranged to save the family-hit by a flood and other assistance work.
While returning to Patna, Nitish stopped at the Sonepur-Disha bridge on the ganga and took the water level in the river.
Immediately after returning to the state capital, CM held a review meeting with the Department of Water Resources and Disaster Management Department officials and asked them to assess the damage caused by flooding in various districts.
He also asked for damage to the damage caused by rice plantations.
Nitish asks them to keep in touch constantly with DM to accelerate the help and rescue work among the affected people.
