CM Opens the 2nd Genome Sequencing Lab Delhi

New Delhi: Chairman of the Delhi Minister Arvind Kejriwal inaugurated another genome sequencement laboratory at the Institute of Heart and Biliary (ILBS) here on Thursday and said it would help detect Coronavirus’s new variants and ensure their severity.

This laboratory will help us identify new virus strains and ensure their severity.
Delhi people will get many benefits from this technology at that time from Coronavirus,” CM Tweeted.
Kejriwal on Wednesday launched the first genome sequencing laboratory in the national capital at the LNJP hospital.
Laboratory sequencing genome at Lok Nayak Hospital Jai Prakash Narayan (LNJP) managed by the government will be able to seutly five to seven samples a day, with a settlement time of about four to five days, a statement said.
