Chandrapur: The Chairman of the Minister of Uddhav Thackeray directing officials to cover five villages that are very sensitive to conflict with a chain fence based on experiments.
The direction came during the meeting held to overcome the situation of a very volatile human conflict in Chandrapur, after the request of the Guardian Vijay Wadettiwar.
Voicing his concern for the situation of conflict in Chandrapur, Wadettiwar said that 18 people had been killed and 50 others had been injured in the Tiger and Leopard attacks in the district for the past six months.
He showed that there were 117 tigers in the forest in Bramhapuri, Sindewahi and Saoli Tehsil, and demanded the nipples of the chain fence around the forest village to curb the increased incidence of predator intrusion in such villages.
He said that the proposal worth RS38.69 Crore for suburban villages in Bramhapuri and Sindewahi and another worth of RS40 Crore for suburban villages in Saoli Tehsil have been sent to the government.
Wadettiwar also reaffirmed his request about the relocation of the advantages of tigers from Chandrapur, expanding the scope of Jan-van Vikas Yojna, developing ecotourism in the high wildlife density area and providing RS10,000 assistance to farmers who could not foster their farms for fear.

The Thackeray cm also issued direction to provide benefits from individual solar fences to farmers in the sensitive villages of the Chandrapur district, with the aim of reducing the conflict of wildlife.
He also approved the proposal for additional funds for the same thing.
Thackeray also directed the officers to build 218 Borewells and Surya Waterhole near them to deal with the problem of water shortages for wild animals.
The RS6 Crore grant that is needed for it must be provided through the IMS funds for compensation (Kampa), he said.
CM claims that at this time, 939 villages are covered under Jan-van Vikas Yojana and directing officials to include several villages under the scheme.
CM was also directed at institutionalizing the committee to change the Chandrapur Forest Academy to Forest University, after the demand raised by the former Minister of Forest Sudhir Mungantiwar at another meeting.
The Committee will study and evaluate the outlook for the conversion of forest academies to forest universities and submit their reports.
He was also directed at appointing an independent person as a forest academy director to develop an academy as an autonomous body.
He told the officials to complete the work of the Worest Academy as soon as possible, and immediately gave the grant needed for the same thing.
