Panaji: With less than seven months to go for the election of the State Assembly, Chairman of the Minister of Pramod Sawant on Monday-based PM Narendra Modi about “political situation” in Goa.
He also invited Modi to visit Goa and inaugurated the Super-Special Cave Medical Collection block, and the renovated Aguada Prison.
Political discussion between Modi and Sawant came after several BJP veterans risked the claim for their nomination in the election of upcoming assembly.
The source said that Sawant told Modi about the strength and weaknesses of the opposition, and how the party was preparing to secure the majority in assembly elections.
