Thiruvananthapuram: Responding to the allegations of the involvement of CPM leadership in the Fraud of Karuvannur Cooperative Bank, Minister Pinarayi Vijayan said that CPM was not a party who would seek the benefits of such malpractices.
He said that the party took a strong position against all mistakes in society and supported by lakh people.
If something is wrong, the party will never hesitate to take strong actions against them, he said on Friday.
The minister’s chairman said that the bank’s office carrier had committed large-scale crimes and the government took the problem very seriously.
He said that the government had dissolved the Bank Administration Committee, and a special team had been formed to investigate crime.
Whoever is the culprit, the government will not protect them, Vijayan said.
First Minister further said that the cooperative sector in this country was praised and trusted by everyone, and the government would do everything needed to enforce the strength and trust of this sector.
