Lucknow: Minister of Uttar Pradesh Yogi Adityanath has directed the officials concerned to prepare a concrete action plan to establish a drone manufacturing unit in the state.
In a meeting with senior officials on Wednesday, he also directed them to write a plan to compile the history of rich villages and cities in the state, a government spokesman said.
The minister’s chairman proposes a drone manufacturing unit, given the importance of unmanned aircraft in various fields such as disaster, agriculture and law and order, said the spokesman.
He also contemplates the initial certificate or diploma courses on drone technology in industrial training institutions, which required assistance will be taken from the Indian Canpur Institute of Technology.
According to a spokesman, Adityanath has also directed officials to map rules and regulations regarding the use of drones.
Meanwhile, in an effort to document the history of mythological, history, and culture of the city and village of Panchayats in the state, the head of the minister has been seeking data compilation in this relationship.
“Every village, every city has its own settlement story and must be written,” said the spokesman, quoted Adyityanath.
Furthermore, the minister’s chairman has directed the urban and rural development department to write a plan to celebrate ‘Gram DIWAS’ and ‘Nagar Diawas’ respectively at the Uttar Pradesh Day Line, the spokesman said.
