CM Stalin urged to ban bars in Tasmac Liquor Shops

Chennai: Tasmac employee union affiliated with AITC has urged the head of Minister Tamil Nadu M K Stalin to forbid bars at liquor outlets.
Union representatives met with the main minister at Chennai on Friday.
In the representation presented to him on that occasion, the union urged the state government to close the bar completely and follow the model of Kerala on the ban.
Indicates that Tasmac employees have worked as contract workers for the past 18 years, trade unions tried to organize their services.
Thirty Tasmac workers have died of Covid-19 and the 10 lakh RS Solatium must be given to their respective family members of them, UNI added.
