Patna: Head of Bihar Minister Nith Kumar on Sunday said that the operation of left-wing extremism (LWE) was a joint responsibility of the center and state government, therefore, the financial burden must also be distributed by both.
Overcoming a high-level meeting organized by the Ministry of Home Affairs (MHA) to review the Lwe scenario in the country, he further attracted the attention of the center to the policy of charging all costs to spread the spread of central armed police forces for operations.
“The fight against Naxal violence to maintain internal security is the responsibility of the country and the center.
But all costs are borne by the state government.
I request that this expenditure must be shared by the two governments,” Nitish said at the meeting, led by the Minister Domestic Amit Shah.

Nitish then asked Mha to reconsider the proposed Bihar to spread a helicopter permanently in the state.
MHA has suggested that Bihar must use a helicopter that is deployed in the Jharkhand as and when it needs to appear.
