CM to find a problem ‘for the Transporter’

Mumbai: Maharashtra Head of Maharashtra Uddhav Thackeray on Monday said the right solution would be done to overcome various financial problems and the financial crisis faced by the transporter in the state because of the Covid-19 pandemic.
The main minister spoke during a meeting with Maharashtra truck delegation, Tempo, tanker, and bus transportation federation at Sahyadri Guest House here.
He also provided direction to the State Finance Department, transportation and police to find suitable solutions for various transporter demands.
Transporter delegates submitted various requests, including liberation from annual motorized vehicle tax and business tax, full release of motorcycle taxes on vehicles transporting passengers to schools and religious places, and providing parking spaces throughout the state.
The Transport Federation also demands a reduction in tax on air-conditioned buses carrying workers, raising a ban on 10 to 16 hours on the entry of heavy and heavy vehicles in the major cities of the country, the cancellation of delayed transportation cases, and a reduction in police force to examine public service vehicles.
Thackeray said the Urban Development Department will be notified of the need for adequate bus and truck parking in the city and space will be planned for this purpose.
He also asked officials to plan trauma treatment centers in various checkpoints.
“The Chairman of the Minister of Uddhav Thackeray has said that the right solution will soon be done in the case of transporter in the state facing the financial crisis because of Covid-19,” said a statement from the office of the minister of the chairman.
NCP President Sharad Pawar, Deputy Chair of Minister Ajit Pawar, Minister of Transportation Anil Puriab, Interior Minister Dilip Walse Patil, Minister of Environment Aaditya Thackeray, Secretary of the Additional Chair of the Minister of Ashish Kumar Singh, Chief Secretary of the Chief of the Kharge Minister Vikas Kharge, Director General of Police Sanjay Pandey and The others were present at the meeting.
“There was a positive discussion at a meeting to resolve various transporter problems in the state,” Sharad Pawar Tweet after the meeting.

President of the Transportation Federation of Prasanna Patwardhan, Vice President Mahendra Lule and Secretary General of Dayand Natekar also attended the meeting.
