Jhansi: Yogi Head Minister Adyityanh will visit Hamirpur Regency and Jalaun on Tuesday to examine the villages regarding floods in the districts and to oversee assistance work.
He will reach after attending the virtual inauguration program Ujjwala 2 by PM Narendra Modi in Maha.
Meanwhile hundreds of villages from the two districts have been influenced by flooding with many of them very severely.
Some villages have even been cut from all directions to abandon food scarcity and other important commodities.
Food and other assistance materials were air down to many villages in the district of the local authorities with the help of army helicopters.
DM Jalaun, Priyanka Niranjan also visited many such villages that ensure adequate assistance.
Speaking with Toi, the Jhansi Division Commissioner, Ajay Shankar Pandey told that 72 villages of the district of Jalaun had been affected around severe dozen.
NDRF and the Army have also been deployed for rescue operations.
“We provide cooked foods and dry rations.
Apart from this medical team are being sent to the island village for medical assistance.
We tried to evacuate people even though many of them were reluctant to leave their place”, said Commissioner Pandey.
