Gandhinagar: Head of Minister Vijay Kupani will visit Jagannath Temple in Jamalpur on Sunday night and lead ‘Sandhya Aarti’ at night Rath Yatra Jagannath.
Yatra will run out of the temple on Monday.
CM will visit the temple at 6:30 a.m.
on Sunday and also hold a meeting with Temple Supervisors and police officers and AMC.
CM will review the preparation, especially in the context of observing the Covid-19 protocol during the procession.
Kupani and Deputy CM Nitin Patel will lead ‘Pahind Vidhi’ – the action of drawing a train out of the temple compound, on Monday morning.
The state government has given permission for Yatra with a number of restrictions due to ongoing pandemics.
