CM visiting Chengalpet, Kancheepuram Regency

Chennai: Chairman of the Minister of Tamil Nadu M K Stalin on Friday examined flood mitigation efforts in Chengalpet and Kancheepuram districts and relief steps distributed to people in wild camps.
After checking the flood mitigation work in Narayanapuram Eri on the radical ring road in Chennai, CM reached a relieved shelter at the Mambakkam Panchayat Union school and asked about the welfare of the people and served their food.
He distributed Pattas’s house for 34 families of the Irula community, which shifted to help shelter.
“It was a dream that came true for us.
The land was allocated to our community 15 years ago, but part of the residents of Keelkottaiyur villagers prevented us from settling here and breaking the land limit.
In a day, this problem ends,” said D Ravi who was eager to receive Patta from CM directly.
