Kanpur: Chairman of the Minist of Uttar Pradesh Yogi Adityanath will flag from Kanpur Metro trial on Wednesday.
This event, which is scheduled for mid-November, has advanced after completing related jobs after a busy schedule and non-stop skip diwali vacation.
This project began on November 15, 2019, and the trial was being carried out after almost two years.
Officials say if everything goes according to plan, Metro services will be launched to the public on December 31 with advanced transportation infrastructure.
Officials said that CM would press the button to start the Metro train trial.
Two sets of trains are available for trials.
However, only one will be used for this purpose.
The trial will be carried out under the strict supervision of RDSO and will last for six weeks before Metro services are launched commercially.
Metro services will not only help build smooth connectivity, but will also alleviate vehicle congestion throughout the city and provide a big boost for the development of the region.
In addition, Metro services will help improve civil facilities and will end the tribulation of the travel people everyday.
During the trial process, cm will also check the metro and facilities available in the coach and settings on the platform.
As planned, to be fully operational, six metro trains will run in the priority corridor between IIT and Motijheel and two trains will remain parked at the depot as a backup.
Six more trains will arrive in the city when commercial operations are launched.
Each train has three coaches with a total capacity of 974 passengers.
In the first phase, the Metro train will run on the nine-kilometer increase called Priority Corridor.
On stretching nine kilometers, nine stations have been built.
The work on the second leg of Kanpur Metro’s first corridor has also started in the Naveen market where the process is active to build an underground station.
The first leg of the corridor will be carried out between Motijheel and Nagar Transport.
The second corridor, working where will be done in the future, will run between the University of CSA and Naubasta.
The construction work of this project was initiated by the government led by Yogi on November 15, 2019.
In the record itself, although the Covid-19 outbreak and subsequent locking, the project was completed in less than two years, officials said.
Kanpur Metro is special in many ways.
It will be equipped with regenerative braking technology that will save up to 35% energy.
That is, if 1,000 electricity units are spent in railroad operations, through regenerative braking train will produce around 350 more units to be reused.
The elevator installed at the station and depot will also be able to save energy with regenerative braking technology.
This will have energy efficiency of up to 37%.
For energy and electricity conservation, the metro place has also been equipped with LED lights.
Furthermore, a plan has been formulated to install solar panels on depots and metro stations.
For the first time in India, Kanpur Metro will come with a ‘third traction traction system “.
Special inverter, which will allow the energy produced by the brakes on the train to be reused in the system.
Until now, no such arrangements have been carried out in the Metro Rail project in this country.
This train is also special in terms of protecting the environment and for safety management, officials said.
