Nagpur: Commissioner of Metro Rail Safety (CMR) and his team completed a zero mile and casturgand garden pump inspection on Thursday.
During inspection, CMR checked the facilities provided by Mahametro for passengers, security settings, fire safety, gate collection of automatic rates (AFC), fire detection response and shared oppression systems with lifts, escalators and other facilities.
According to press releases issued by Mahametro, team members expressed satisfaction of safety and facilities provided at the station and sustainable work from Kantilever.
As reported by the previous TOI, Zero Mile Station will provide connectivity to the civil line area, which has a large number of government, semi-government and private offices.
The station will be a 20-storey structure consisting of four floors parking, one concourse station station for ticket and retail stores, one platform, one technical floor and 13 floors for the commercial space on the station.
“Tender has floated for the construction of this space and staying on the Nagpur Metro website,” the release was stated.
Park Kasturcand Station will provide connectivity to civil lines and conscious areas.
