CN College will soon become the Govt Institute

Coimbatore: The state government on Friday launched a plan to change Chikkaiiah Naicker (CN) College in Erode to become a government art and Science College.
The experimination of the college and education agent has changed two decades ago, following the Madras High Court, under the supervision of the law, has declared universities that could be assisted by government assets and did not move as government properties.
However, there are no steps to change universities to become government universities, which affect the quality of education and infrastructure.
Universities are under the administration of the Collegiate Educational Regional Joint Director, Coimbatore, for the past 20 years.
Recently, former Minister of Chief Edappadi K Palaniswami has convinced to take steps to change universities into government facilities, but nothing materialized.
On Friday, the Minister of Higher Education K Ponmudi made an announcement to turn it into the art of government and science on the floor of the Assembly, following demand from housing and the Minister of Development Urban S Muthusamy.
P Thirunavakkarasu, President, University Teacher Association, said the struggle of two decades of crunchy people, the student community and various parts of employees finally produced results.
The association also appealed Ponmudi to accelerate the process and declare CN College, eroded, as a government college in the current academic year to benefit poor students.
