Hyderabad: MP Nalgonda N Uttam Kumar Reddy has opposed the central decision to auction three block coal companies Singareni Colliies Limited in Telangana to the private sector.
He said that TRS and BJP parliamentarians did not raise the problem of four coal blocks within the Koleries Singareni limit which was proposed to be auctioned.
This reflects that both TRS and BJP have a quiet understanding, he accuses.
Uttam, who as former President PCC also demanded the state government to distribute RS 5,000 Crore as a bonus for the procurement of rice in the next Yasangi season (Rabbi).
Adaising Chandaster Minister K Chandrasekhar RAO and Prime Minister Narendra Modi as an anti-farmer, he asked farmers to grow rice in the Yasangi season and try to ensure that Congress will see that the central government of them.
“Congress will stand near farmers and fight in their behalf in the Assembly and Parliament,” he said.
He said CM KCr must explain what is the use of the annual budget of Rs 2 Lakh Crore Country if it does not overcome the problems of farmers.
The Government TRS has become so incompetent so that it cannot take action on a failed rice mill in giving back one lakh ton of rice, he accuses.
He demanded the state government to provide Bonus Rs 500 per quintal rice at MSP as being done in Chhattisgarh, in the Yasangi season as a damaged rice problem there will be there.
“Why did the government agree to get 40 lakh tons of rice in the midst of Kharif season.
The smaller country of Telangana can secure more procurement by the center.
While the center has provided a 90 lakh ton of rice procurement targets in Telangana, to date the state government lives only 54 lakh tons, “he thought.
Saying that in the Yasangi season before the rice has been sown at 53 lakh hectares, he said this year sow did not occur in Yasangi because farmers were worried because of the dual standards adopted by the state government.
