Coastal Food and Drink Coastal Workers High & Dry

Bengaluru: With the food and beverage sectors in Mumbai who were hit hard by the second wave, the family on the coast of Karnataka felt hot.
About 65% of hotels, restaurants, and catering services are owned or run by entrepreneurs from Karnataka.
During the second wave, many travelers commit suicide because they cannot fulfill financial obligations.
The latest is the Karunakarakan B Puthran, 48, who runs the hotel in Virar in the Palghar district.
He is from Karkala, Udupi District.
“Near 35% of the restaurant is on the threshold,” said Chandrahas K Shetty, former president, the Association of Hotels and Restaurants India (Ahar), Mumbai and President, Bunts Sangha Mumbai.
“There is no support from the state government about the neglect of license, electricity, bank loans or taxes,” Chandrahas said.
“The second key is a big blow.
At present, this sector can operate until 16:00, which does not serve that purpose.
If there is a third lock, it will be the last nail in the coffin.” Most hotels are taken rent or rent.
Jermal Harish Shetty, Owner, Hotel Link Link, West Borivali, said, “During the first wave, some owners give relaxation.
When the limit was appointed, they began to demand delayed rent.
It is difficult to let go of this financial crisis except the government to step,” Yermal said, who employs nearly 400 people in various hotels.
The lack of floating population is another matter.
Shanker B Shetty, the owner of Hotel Shreya Palace in Virar West, said: “There are other locking rumors in August.
If there are, we don’t know our situation.”
