Yavatmal: The Yavatmal Bar Association has urged the Police Supervisory (SP) Dilip Bhujbal to recognize the anticipatory guarantee guarantee rejection to the defendant in the attack on Harshawardhan lawyers, members of the Yavatmal Bar.
On November 14 last year, Deshmukh was attacked with an iron rod by one Sapre Kunal after the incident of anger of the road, hurt it seriously.
The lawyer immediately rushed to the nearest hospital.
Then, he filed a complaint at the Awadhootwadi police station.
The police ordered Sapre below 307, 341, 294 and 506 from the Indian criminal code.
The defendant moved the application before the district and court session and after hearing, the court denied the Sapre guarantee.
He then approached the High Court (HC), who rejected the application at 1.
HC rejected the temporary anticipatory assurance request on December 14.
The court finally ordered the police to restore the weapons used for the attack on January 14.
However, the police failed to accuse the defendant.
Bar President Amit Badnore has accused the police protect the defendant and urged SP to intervene and bring the defendant immediately.
