Hyderabad: Researcher from the All-India Medical Sciences (AIIMS) in Hyderabad, among others, said the third wave of Covid-19, which is currently underway, can cause a symptomatic cognitive and functional decline which has been exhibited by the virus so far.

Furthermore, cognitive decreases do not occur insulative; but are accompanied by a decrease in quality of life and the inability to do routine and instrumental activities of everyday life,” this study warned .
