Coimbatore: A 29-year-old police attached to the Armed Reserve Police of Coimbatore City was placed under the suspension of indecent behavior after a video showing a woman who planted a kiss on her cheeks into a viral on social media on Saturday.
COP, identified as V Balaji, indigenous Cuddalore Regency, has lived with his wife and two children at the police station on the police recruiting school campus (PRS).
“On Friday night, Balaji was chatting with his brother-in-law in the park near Lake Valankulam, when he suddenly kissed him.

Someone recorded a video and sent it to senior police officers,” said a police officer.
The video became a viral on social media on Saturday morning.
“When Balaji was uniformed at the time of the incident, the Deputy Commissioner of Police Muralidharan placed him under the suspension on Saturday,” the officer added.
