Coimbatore: Officials from Coimbatore Corporation have begun work to restore land move with a total of 78 cents intended as an open space (OSR) reserve of around Rs 10 Crore.
A team led by Executive Engineer S Ravichandran installed a board in four places to inform the public that the land belonged to a civilian body on Saturday.
Officials of the corporate city planning wing said all four places were under the Western zone.
23 cents intended for parks in Vimal Nagar in Thondaamuthur Road in Ward 18, 18 land centers intended for parks and 27 cents intended for schools, 10 cents in veeperalam on the corporate road were identified as corporate land.
An official said that 10 cents in Veeperalam are located adjacent to the main road in the commercial area.
A total of 7 stores are built on the ground and have been rented.
Restaurants function on land that penetrate.
He added that as the first measure of violating land had been identified by surveying the established layout and board measurements.
The next step is to send notification to the seizure and take it in the end.
