Coimbatore: Corporation Officials Corporation Coimbatore on Saturday seized seven horses which caused problems for road users in and around the Selvapuram region.

Officials said that animals would be handed over to their own owners when they came to claim them.

An zoo official said the penalty would be determined by them based on circumstances where animals were allowed to deviate on the road and the number of animals.

Corporate officials said there had been many complaints against the horses that were lost on the road in the past few days.
They roamed the road and pose a threat to commuters, especially those traveling quickly.
