Coimbatore: Wing Cybercrime City registered a case of 41 YouTube channels under the protection of children from sexual violations (Pocso) acting to reveal the identity of a class XII girl who died by suicide after sexually stripped by the school teacher.
In accordance with the Pocso Law, there are no reports in any media that will reveal the identity of a child including his name, address, photo, family details, school, environment or other special ones that can cause disclosure of identity.
Publishers or media owners or studios or photographic facilities must be together and very responsible for the actions and negligence of their employees.
Anyone who is contrary will be punished with a prison sentence from a description for a period that may not be less than six months but which can be expanded to one year or with both.
The source said several YouTube channels have published the girl’s photo, the WhatsApp screen catch and audio conversation between him and his teacher Mithun Chakravarthy.
