Coimbatore: The district reported 239 fresh Covid-19 cases on Friday, even as the test level of testing fell to 1.8% from the start of 2%.
The case is now at 2,30,703.
With 192 patients running out of various treatment centers that day, the number of patients recovered in the district had soared up to 2,26,350.
At present, there are 2,164 Covid-19 cases active in this district.
The death toll, meanwhile, increased to 8,335, with the state to add one more death that occurred in the district to the list.
Tirupur neighbors recorded 90 fresh Covid-19 cases that day, took the calculation to 88,354, where 871 was an active case.
It reported five Covid-19 deaths as well, pushing the 857 toll road TNN.
