CHENNAI: For the very first time since the pandemic started, Coimbatore on Wednesday reported much more new Covid-19 instances than Chennai. Coimbatore reported 4,268 instances while Chennai listed 3,561 instances. Tamil Nadu on Wednesday reported 33,764 newest instances and 475 deaths, even carrying the case tally into 19,45,260 and death toll on 21,815. Following 29,717 sparks, there have been 3.10 lakh active instances from the country.
