Chennai: Tamil Nadu reported a marginal decline in fresh Covid-19 cases to 1.509 on Wednesday compared to 1,512 on Tuesday and 1.523 on Monday.
Coimbatore, Tiruvannamalai, Kancheepuram and Trichy are between 19 districts that reported a new case increase compared to tally Tuesday they.
Coimbatore, who reported the sharpest increase from 186 new cases on Wednesday compared to 173 on Tuesday, also topped the table with the most recent cases in TN.
Chennai followed with 177 cases and Erode with 137.

There are 20 districts that report less than 25 cases and eight reported less than 10 cases.
The sharpest decline in the last 24 hours was reported in Thanjavur, where new cases fell to 70 of 98 on Tuesday.
Meanwhile, 22 deaths on Wednesday took victims to 34,941 and the state reported the calculation of the cumulative case of 26.16 lakh.

Of the 20 new deaths, four were reported at Cuddalore, two of each in Coimbatore, Chennai, Trichy, Mayiladuthurai and Pulajottai.
