Coimbatore: A young man and his 70-year-old relatives were killed after their car traveled on the hit behind a tiping truck at L & T bypass on tendril on Saturday night.
The deceased was identified as D Nithish Rahul, 21, Kadanpet in Tirupur and Pandasamy from Kaliyapuram near tendrils.
Nithish runs the Banian company in the Powerloom unit owned by Tirupur and Kandasamy.
They were on our way to Coimbatore from Kerala on Saturday night.
Nithish drove a car and kandasamy sat with him.
When they approached Kavery Spinning Mill at Vellalore Pirivu at around 8:30 a.m., Nithish saw a tipper truck in front of the car.
The truck driver suddenly took right turn without indication.
Nithish tried to control the car, but it crashed into a truck.
The duo died in place.
The police have registered a case against the M Muthukukar truck driver, 25, from Pattanam in the tendril.
