Kolkata: A 14-year-old boy who allegedly hung himself at an address on Jalan Adi-Ganga Cooperative in Bansdroni on Wednesday night.
There are no records found and the reason for the decision has not been confirmed.
“We received a call at around 6.50 pm that class IX students from the English high school were found depending on the ceiling fan in his house.
He was declared died at Baghajatin Hospital.
He lives with his mother and grandmother.
His parents divorced,” said DC (SSD ) Rashid Munir Khan.
The incident was revealed when the boy failed to open the door when his grandmother called him to eat.
