Bhubaneswar: The Indian Meteorology Department (IMD) on Thursday said that night temperature will drop three to four degrees Celsius in many places in the next two days.
Also, the cold wave conditions are likely to win in the western part and interior of the District Odisha for three days from Friday night, the forecast said.
“The northwest and cold air blows towards our territory.
It will make the night temperature down throughout the country,” said H R Biswas, scientists and head of the Regional IMD center here.
Biswas added that the condition of the cold wave would mostly win in West Odisha bags, from Friday to Sunday.
Bulletin from the IMD said at least 10 districts – Sundargarh, Jharsuguda, Keonjhar, Sonepur, Illeways, Deogarh, Angul and Ladydom – would experience cold wave conditions.
Rainfall fell may occur again in isolated places, mostly in the pocket of North Odisha, from 3 to 7 February, because of Western disruption, said IMD scientist.
The IMD report said on Thursday, the minimum temperature dropped in many places.
