Cold waves make voting low in S Guj

Letter: On Sunday, voting procedures for Panchayats village in South Gujarat District recorded a cold response with a number of voting less than 50% until the afternoon.
In the letter, the voting procedure for 407 Panchayats village from nine Talukas was held at 949 polling booths.
Overall 391 seats were in a commotion for Sarpana and 2,539 seats for Pancrayat village members.
A total of 102 election officers and 102 assistant election officers were elected together with 5,172 voting staff and 1,657 police personnel to maintain law and order.
According to the source, only 35.23% of votes were registered until late afternoon.
In but, the selection was held at 630 different booth polls for 250 Panchayat seats in the village of Seven Talukas.
A total of 248 seats were in a commotion for Sarpanch and 1,930 for Panchayat members.
The poll procedure was monitored by 61 election officers and 61 selection officers cooking along with 3,955 polling staff and 1,382 police personnel.
About 44.05% of votes are registered in the district until late afternoon.
In Bharuch, voting procedures were held for 64 Panchayats Village where a total of 78,083 voters carried out their voting rights until around 3pm.
