Collapse: College increases e-infra for the UG semester exam

Kolkata: Colleges affiliated with Calcutta University have begun to improve their infrastructure for various undergraduate semesters and other exams starting from January 15 and so on.
Calcutta University has decided to do all tests through digital mode because of the third wave.
The government has also suspended all in-people because of the spread of the virus.
Some universities have also published rules and regulations for students who take online exams and digital platforms that they will use to provide exams.
Many colleges have maintained provisions for students to submit hard copies of their answer scripts if they cannot upload scripts on the College exam portal.
Astutosh College students took the exam to register once before the examination began.
Students can use a university registration ID or student ID to enter the exam portal.
“Students can upload a copy of the scanned from their answers by name, roll numbers and written semesters on them.
The file must be in size 25 MB,” said Astutosh College official.
Question papers will be available on the Calcutta University website and campus website too.
“Students can download test papers from www.cuug.in, www.cuug20.in, www.culibrary.ac.in,” said a university official.
Goenka College of Commerce and business administration have issued guidelines for examinations that have been submitted to students through the Internal WhatsApp group.
“Students can only use A4 paper.
After they write their exam, they must scan the sheet as a file and name it with the subject code and their roll number.
The official letter ID has been given to students where they can send scripts.
Students who cannot send The script can send it to the College office at the end of the examination every day in an envelope sealed, “said an official.
College has created a special portal and a letter ID for students to download questions and send their answer scripts.
“It seems that we might have to continue with Hybrid mode for more time.
It is important that we increase our digital infrastructure,” said the head of the South College Kolkata School.
