Collection Agent Robbed Rs 12L, Sho Suspended

Noida: Three men borne bicycles allegedly held a collection agent in Gunpoint in sector 104 on Thursday afternoon and fled with Rs 12.66 lakh he was carrying.
After the incident, Sector 39 Sho Azad Singh Tomar was suspended by police commissioners because of allegations of negligence in the control of crime and maintenance of law and order.
Police said the Sukhbir Singh collection agent worked for one Praveen Garg who had a wholesale oil shop in the Delhi Condli area.
He supplies oil to several stores in Noida.
On Thursday afternoon, Singh, from Kaital in Haryana, was in Noida to raise money from shops in Bhangel, Mamura, Parthala and Khoda Ghaziabad.
“After raising money from 16 stores, he kept the number on his scooter.
When Singh reached the 104 sector at around 2:30 a.m., three men were transmitted by bicycle approaching him.
One of them took him in Gunpoint and asked him to submit a bag, which had Rs 12 , 66 lakh, “said a police officer.
The people were thought to threaten Singh and escape with the bag.
Immediately after the incident was reported, senior police officers, including the additional police commissioners (law and order) reached the place.
Additional DCP (Noida) Ranvijay Singh said: “A FIR is being asked.
We are checking CCTV recordings from the area where Singh goes.” Then at night, Police Commissioner Alok Kumar Singh suspended the Sector Police Office 39.
