Nagpur: Vimla R collector on Saturday inaugurated the skills development workshop for women inmates from the Nagpur Center prison.
Toi has reported about the plan for prison authorities to start skills development courses.
VIMLA and other senior officials officially started the skills development workshop in prison where women’s prisoners would be trained in making ‘agarbatti’ or incense sticks.
About 70-80 women’s prisoners will be able to learn skills.
Prison Authority has further plans to start other courses as part of a complete rehabilitation plan.
In accordance with the SP Kumre prison, even male prisoners will be appointed in the scheme.
