‘College occupies 1893 hectares of government land without dances’

Bhubaneswar: Overall 1,893 hectares of land government are under illegal ownership of universities 695 degrees in the state, in accordance with the information provided by the Ministry of Higher Education to the Income and Disaster Management Department.
The official source said 180 hectares of land were under an illegal occupation of 51 government universities.

If a college does not get affiliates, it cannot obtain accreditation from the National Assessment and Acreditation Council (NAAC).
Colleges can lose funds if they don’t get the right accreditation.
The University Grant Commission (UGC) has decided that every institution must get NAAC accreditation in 2022.
The Ministry of Higher Education has also requested universities and colleges to prepare a detailed plan on how to increase their NAAC accreditation.
The department wants to make the majority of colleges and non-accredited Naac accredited universities to get funds and maintain quality.
