Kolkata: Colleges in Kolkata continue to update information about their UG receipt portal, revise the schedule and guidelines of Amanden, to ensure that there are no candidates faced by problems during the application.
With the whole process done online to avoid visits to campuses in the Pandemic Year, applicants have no choice to approach officials with queries if they do not understand certain steps.
So to make everything easier, almost all colleges have formed a team, which monitors the application and through a query sent by candidates.
Scottish Church College has revised its date so that students and officials get more time after August 20, the last date for the application.
Now, the first phase of reception will begin on August 25, not September 1.
For this reason, the first list of first prometers will come out on August 22 and the first list of achievements for receiving phase 1 on August 24.
“It will give applicant time to check whether their name displays a temporary list and merit.
Bringing the next date will give us more time so we don’t have to hurry through the process,” said a Scottish church official.
Lady Brabourne has also changed the guidelines.
According to the new rules, students who passed the Plus-II exam between 2016 and 2021 (both years of inclusive) from the recognized council in India (ISC, CBSE, each board or council)) can apply to UG courses this year.
Previously, only those who passed Plus-II in the last two years were permitted.
Last week, colleges began receiving a copy of the downloaded Sheet Mark who was scanned after many boards did not provide a hard copy to school.
“We need to be sensitive to the requirements of students in a pandemic,” said Siuli Sarkar, Principal of LASY Brabourne.
St Xavier’s College, where the last application date is August, 10 has announced several important dates.
There, the first list will be published on August 23 and receipts will take place between August 24 and 27.
The second list will come out in September 3.
Some universities, such as Maulana Azad, Goenka, Bethune, Seth Anandaram Jaipuria, Scotland, St.
Paul’s and New Alipore College, have introduced Helbline and e-mail IDs, where students can send their questions.
“This is difficult times.
Everything is uncertain for students since March 2020.
We have started three aid channels for queries in,” said the Chief of High School Alipore Jaydeep Sarangi.
