Guwahati: Militant People’s Liberation Army (PLA) and the People’s Dragon Manipur Front (MNPF) on Saturday together carry out the deadliest attacks in the northeast in six years, killing a colonel of soldiers who permeated as commander of Rifles 46 Assam, his wife and son The six-year-old with four paramilitary forces personnel near the Indian-Myanmar border in the Churachandpur district.

The source said the CONT Tripathi convoy might be targeted because he recently intensified the patrol of the area, making it more difficult for militants based in Myanmar neighbors to move to and from the country.
