Hyderabad: Rape and murder of a six-year-old child in Saidabad has asked a serious question about the police who are effective in the area’s colony.
After the incident, there had been anger of the big community with many police blaming for allegedly failing to curb sales of illegal liquor and illegal drugs in the area.
Local residents say the area has become a safe place for anti-social elements and those involved in illegal activities.
“If the police will limit the sale of illegal liquor in the area, the incident of rape and the murder of a small girl might not happen.
The defendant is a worried habit and addiction .
Local residents also accused that almost every other home had haunted drunks.
They said that law enforcement agencies and the task force the commissioner had failed to maintain the tabs of anti-social elements.
They added marijuana sales, among other smuggles, they were rampant in the area, attracting many young men.
Previously, there was an illegal LPG gas filling unit which was run in the area, but through hard action that was consistent by the authority of the civil and police supply, the threat was controlled.
In some operations, domestic and commercial lpg gas cylinders are confiscated which have been used for the purpose of refilling.
“There is no Cordon operation and searches conducted in the area.
Despite warn the police several times, our problem has fallen on deaf ears.
There is an urgent need for intensive police patrols in the area,” said Vidya Sagar a local.
The locals say that illegal business is being carried out in the area in the extensive daytime and on the main road.
They accused that excise dirt and authority had become blind eyes to such problems.
