Kolkata: a 25-year-old Salt Lake resident allegedly raped by a neighbor in his flat in government housing plantations on Saturday night.
Based on women’s complaints and the next medical report, the neighbor was arrested and returned in police custody for four days.
Survivor, who lost his parents, lived in a flat with his two brothers.
His family told the police that he mostly lived at home and was undergoing treatment for small mental conditions.
The incident allegedly occurred between 18:30 and 19:30 on Saturday, when the brothers left, police said.
According to complaints submitted by one of the brothers, he was alone at home when a 32-year-old child was accused of sneaking into their flats to find the main door that was not locked.
When one of the brothers returned home at around 7:30 p.m., he found the woman in a messy state, the rooms in chaos and Rs 2,000 were stored in the lost drawer.
When the brother asked the woman, he reportedly told him about that torture, how the neighbor was suspected of estimating and escaping with the money.
“According to the complainant, youth raped his sister with their absence.
Based on the complaint and the woman’s statement, we arrested the young man and accused him of rape under the 376 IPC,” said a senior officer at the Bidhannagar City Police.
According to a source, the woman and the defendant knew each other and he told the police that this was not the first time he forced him to force him.
