Kolkata: The 2022 international Kolkata book will start from January 31, the Chairman of the Minister of Mamata Banerjee announced on Monday.
However, the duration has not been announced.
Book exhibition, organized by Publisher and Booksellers Guild, was canceled in 2021 because Covid.
The guild has written to cm before the puja, asked him to consider the possibility of holding fair at the beginning of 2022 and asked for advice on the precautions to be taken.

The Guild will hold an EC meeting on Tuesday to develop a tentative plan for the exhibition, which will be submitted to CM.

We are glad CM allows us to hold our fair around the usual time,” Chatterjee said.
