But the upcoming weather system might not have the same impact on the weather in Kolkata as a circulation of Monday, the word weather.
The next one can form above the East-Central Bay on September 25 and move towards Northwest Bay – trajectories that tend to see it attack Odisha beach than South Bengal.
Kolkata can still feel the impact on September 26.
“It’s too early to predict the extent to which it will affect the weather in Kolkata.
But going in the possible direction, the city and South Bengal may not receive heavy rain,” said the regional Meteorology Center (RMC) GK DAS.
Kolkata received a mild drizzle on Tuesday morning.
However, some regions receive moderate rain at night.
Meanwhile, cyclone circulation that has triggered 142 mm rain on Monday made it the most rainy September since September 25, 2007 moved to West Midnapore on Tuesday as a low pressure area.
Even though it moved further west to Jhargram, Purulia and Bankura, low pressure continued to attract a lot of moisture from the sea.
“It triggers light to moderate rain in Kolkata and the surrounding district at night.
The western district receives heavy rain and will continue to be filled with shower until the circulation passes through the Jharkhand,” added the watershed.
However, the office meets, predicts relative ‘dry weather’ from Wednesday to Friday.
“Except for occasional drizzles and rain monsoons, Kolkata may not have a heavy bathroom.
In fact, the temperature can ride some notches,” said the watershed.
