Some pregnant women are infected during pandemic.
While some lucky returned home after staying at the hospital, others had to bear the loss of their newborn baby.
Some of them also gave up on infection.
“I have seen how difficult it is to manage pregnant women who are infected with Covid-19.
I am worried about myself and my unborn child, so I did not waste the day when my doctor Priya Ray told me to get a Covid shot,” said Khetrimayum Naobi , a nurse with an Amri Mukundapur hospital.
Naobi seven months pregnant took his first Covaxin Jab a few days ago at the RN Tagore International Institute of Cardiac Sciences where her husband worked as a cath lab technician.
