Only 20 covid patients were received against 289 non-covid patients.
Apart from those who suffer from influenza, patients are also accepted for planned operations.
“We now get around 950 patients in our OPD with our normal foot of 1,200-plots.
Also, because of a sharp decline in covid patients (only 18 now), we plan to reduce our Covid zone to only one area that can accommodate around 25 The bed so we can use a non-covid bed, “said Narayana Health Zonal Director (East) R Venkatesh.
The number of covid patients in three Amri units has slipped down to 26.
The count of patients visiting the hospital to consult a doctor physically now about 60% of normal steps.
“The patient is now more comfortable and confident to return to the hospital after a sharp decline in the Covid case.
Our OPD rooms have seen a sudden leap in footsteps when patients range from various departments.
Online consultation is just a stop-gap step,” Said Belle Vue CEO Pradip Tondaon.
