Besides Nayabad, residents of Mukundapur and Chhit Kalikapur will also benefit from drainage pumping stations built in Chhit Kalikapur waiting for the inauguration on Sunday.
According to a KMC official, the pump station will ensure the storm water quickly from the large area of ​​Mukundapur and Chhit Kalikapur.
“Apart from the locals, a large number of patients navigate knee or deeply to visit some private hospitals in the Mukundapur region every rainy season will also benefit when the pump station starts to function,” the official said.
