Ludhiana: Nearly a month later ban on the usage of gas in industrial procedures had been enforced in Punjab, the factories are currently campaigning for breath. However, states are becoming much worse today and about Tuesday several small business institutions issued an appeal to the state authorities to think of an alternate to satisfy industrial necessity of air and divert extra inventory available for industrial usage. Speaking on the matter, Upkar Singh Ahuja, president Chamber of Industrial and Commercial Undertakings (CICU), stated,”From the continuing second tide of Covid-19, the sector has whole heartedly endorsed the government and administration by closing down all procedures requiring utilization of oxygen. Further, a single bit of oxygen , whether filled or empty, was passed over to the government so it may be utilized for clinical purposes and lives may be saved. However with nearly a month with no source of oxygen into business, enormous after effects have been felt by the business. Several procedures are jeopardised, for example laser cutting machines utilized by agricultural machinery manufacturers are not able to function, worse has been observed at the furnace sector at which the air gas is utilized in enormous quantity.
