Mumbai: Apart from the threat from the right-wing group, Comedian stand-up Munawar Faruqui appeared in a place of South Mumbai on Saturday night, thanks to the support of the All Indian Professional Congress, Congress Wing, and Mewa Vikas Aghadi (MVA.) The government.
Faruqui Law in Mumbai assumed significance because he had faced the cancellation of more than a dozen events, mostly in BJP LED countries, in the past two weeks.
Earlier this month, the show was Bengaluru and the Gurgaon Comedy Festival was canceled.
He had revealed his delay on it and showed that he might not perform the afterlife.
“Naffat Jeet Gai, Haar Style artist (hate has won, artist has lost).
I’ve finished, goodbye.
Injustice,” he said in Instagram posts.
Mathew Antipe AIPC said, on November 27, he promised to ensure Faruqui appeared in Mumbai.
“We have delivered our promise and he appeared in front of a full house in the Hall of Y B Chavan,” he said.
Antony said there were several debates about the decision to support Faruqui.
In a statement, AIPC said the Mumbai event exploded without “disruption element”.
The statement said: “We want to support Munawar as political attitudes not for Munawar but for every artist or individual, who must have the freedom of creative thinking to appear without fear”.
This adds that “creative content” and “cruel criticism to the system” in any way that allows the mind to “pause and reflect” or all forms of art that creates “examination and balances needed” in the system must be encouraged.
AIPC thanks all “Torchbearers, who believes” in the values of constitution, freedom of individual expression and freedom to choose individuals to choose the form of entertainment they want to consume.
AIPC also thanked Zonal DCP Balaji Day, the Cuffe Parade Police Team, the Office of the Office of the Minister of Environment Aaditya Thackeray, Minister of State House Dilip Walse Patil, Pawar Family, Leadership of the State Congress and other AIPC carrier.
