Mumbai: Congress leader Rahul Gandhi on Wednesday moved the petition before the Bombay High Court seeks the dismissal of the defamation case submitted to Him by BJP supporters for the “commander-in-thieves” former targeting Prime Minister Narendra Modi.
Mahesh Shrishrimal complainants have stated that this comment was made by Rahul Gandhi while attacking the Prime Minister in 2018 on the Jet Agreement of Rafale fighters.
After recognizing complaints, the Judge Court in Mumbai has issued a summons to Rahul Gandhi in October 2019.
Former President of the Congress has not yet appeared long before the judge.
The petition to cancel the case defamation was submitted before justice.
Shrishrimal has stated that Rahul Gandhi’s statement has injured the sentiments of the supporters of the Prime Minister.
