Commission restrictions to visit J & K between 6-9 Jul

New Delhi: The restriction commission will visit Jammu and Kashmir between 6-9 July and interact with political parties, Public Representatives and Union Region officials to collect “first hand” information about Mega practice to carve new constituencies, EC said on Wednesday.
The decision in this case was taken after the polls panel meeting chaired by the chairman of the restrictions on the justice (retd) of Ranjana Prakash Desai and the Commissioner of the Main Election (CEC) Sushil Chandra, he said.
“The Commission hopes that all stakeholders will work together in this effort and provide valuable advice so that the task of restrictions is completed on time,” said a spokesman for the General Election Commission (EC) in the issue of statement here.
The restriction commission was assigned to redreg the parliamentary constituency and assembly in Jammu and Kashmir.
