Vrindavan: United States unions and the state government are fully committed to ensuring the development of the BRAJ and projects that are worth more than RS 425 Crore have been going on in the district, said Chairman of Yogi Adtityanath, Wednesday.
Yogi inaugurated ‘Braj Raj Utsav’ and ‘Hunar Haat’ here and said craftsmen and craftsmen helped realize the vision of Prime Minister Narendra Modi about ‘Atmanirbhar Bharat’.
Praising PM, he said there were no other leaders in the world who were communicated with residents during the Coronavirus pandemic like him.
“PM adopts the ‘Atmanirbhar Bharat’ mantra to save lives and livelihoods.
I am happy that ‘Hunar Haat’ has also been associated with ‘Braj Raj Utsav-2021’ by the Union Ministry of Minority Affairs,” he said.
Development projects worth more than RS 425 Crore have been launched by BRAJ TEERTH VIKAS Parishad, said CM.
Braj, also known as Brij or Brijbhoomi, is an area around Mathura-Vrindavan and is famous as Lord Krishna’s land.
The 10-day ‘Braj Raj Utsav’ organized by Braj Teerth Vikas Parishad in Vrindavan to promote BRAJ culture, is a joint venture of the state government, Ministry of Union Munderi and the Ministry of Textile.
Minister of Minority Affairs Mukhtar Abbas Naqvi, MPRO Malini Malini, Keungi Sharman Sharma, Laxmi Narayan Chaudhary, Up Braj Teerth Vice Parishad Deputy Chairperson of Shailja Kant Misra is also present at the inauguration.
“Hunar Haat provides markets and opportunities for traditional arts and crafts and centuries and strengthens ‘Swadeshi’ and ‘vocals for local’ campaigns.
This also ensures the empowerment of customer craftsmen and customer,” Naqvi said.
About 400 craftsmen, craftsmen, and culinary experts from more than 30 states and trade union territories participated in Hunar Haat, the Union minister added.
Famous artists like Annu Kapoor, Kailash Kher, Suresh Wadekar; Punit Issar will do Mahabharat, while Sadanand Biswas, Anoop Jalota, Usman Mir will also appear.
The next Hunar will be arranged at Lucknow from November 12 to 21.
