Commuter, the house collapsed to make fire officers busy

New Delhi: Delhi fire service personnel are on their toes on Saturday after receiving several calls about people who are trapped in water caused by a heavy shower.
At the Palam, around 40 passengers are stuck after a private bus where they travel cannot enter through the underwater underpass there.
Apart from this, the fire department also received around seven calls related to the house collapsed, although there were no victims reported.
Firefighting officials said that they received three calls about large waterlogging in 12 hours between 7am and 19:00.
The first call comes from the Mayapuri Delhi Metro station where one person is trapped and must be saved.
A little later, around 10:30 a.m., there was a SOS of two vehicles trapped in water at Mundka Underpass.
Fire officials revealed that 18 people must be healed from Tempo and a truck trapped at that location.
Around 11:30 a.m., the fire brigade was called to save around 40 passengers on a private bus that left Palam to Mathura who was mired in the water.
Delhi fire service also received phone calls about seven houses collapsing.
About 7.35 in the morning, a building at Gandhi Enclave at Jain Nagar fainted.
Four-storey building fortunately has been emptied by Delhi Municipal Corporation and therefore, there were no casualties.
Around 1:30 a.m., a Makbara fainted near the Prophet Karim police station, without being reported.
Collapse other houses including those in Rohini, Burari, Chandni Chowk, Road Idgah and Vihar Mayur.
None of these incidents had victims reported.
Atul Garg, Director, Delhi Fire Services, said, “As soon as we receive a request for aid, firefighting personnel reaches the site.
People who are trapped in underpasses must be saved.
They cannot leave because they have luggage with them.
We also reported All the calls call we received to the city company.
Some of the calls we received were not serious in nature, but we still respond with urgency.
Overall, we saved 59 people from three locations in the city on Saturday.
